I recently spent some time speaking with Bruce Morton, CMO of Allegis Groups Services, about his upcoming keynote at TalentNet Live Chicago. Bruce has a unique viewpoint on the changing nature of our global workforce. As Bruce says, our contingent workforce is growing. ”Organizations are realizing that having the best talent is of key importance to their success.” He believes we are moving to a time when companies will ask, “how do you want to engage with us?”. Employee, consultant, or blended partnership. We will all have that choice. Bruce sees this new working relationship as a social contract with employers. It’s the way we will think about work from now on. It’s a fascinating prospect. And one I happen to strongly agree with. Bruce will discuss the social contract, and the changing landscape of social media and recruiting, in his keynote this coming Monday at the TalentNet Live National Recruiting Conference (TNL Chicago). Check out the video preview he recorded below. And join us this Monday! We’ll see you either in Chicago or on the live stream at www.ustream.tv/channel/tnl-chicago-2011. Cheers, CF
